Ornella has been a victim advocate in our police department since May 2019. She has experience working as a school counselor with at-risk youth. She also worked as a behavior therapist providing interventions to individuals with special needs (i.e. Autism, ADHD, Down-syndrome, Intellectual disabilities, multiple diagnoses) and individuals with severe mental illnesses (i.e. Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder). She is passionate about helping improve the quality of life of those in need. Her education includes a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, and a Victim Service Practitioner Designation.
