Kids' Day Off

A treat for kids, a convenience for parents!

The Kids’ Day Off (KDO) program is offered during Miami-Dade County Public School Teacher Planning days for parents who have to go to work and need a safe place to leave their children. Camp includes:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Field trips
  • Outside and inside activities

  • October 23, 2020- late fee implemented on October 21, 2020
  • November 23, 2020- late fee implemented on October 21, 2020
  • November 25, 2020- late fee implemented on November 23, 2020
  • March 26, 2021- late fee implemented on March 24, 2021
  • May 28, 2021- late fee implemented on May 26, 2021
  • June 10, 2021- late fee implemented on June 8, 2021

Registration

Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration is performed at the following locations:

To register, you will need:

  • Child’s current report card
  • Child’s student ID number
  • Completed KDO Registration Form
    • KDO Registration Form - English (PDF)
    • KDO Registration Form - Spanish (PDF)
  • Copy of child’s Birth Certificate
  • Current photo of child
  • Proof of Hialeah residency (electric bill, phone bill, water bill)
