Meetings
The Cultural Affairs Council shall establish the date, time and place of its meetings. The Council may schedule joint meetings at its discretion with the historic preservation board.

Members
The Cultural Affairs Council shall consist of eight members. Each councilmember and the Mayor shall select a member. Members shall serve without compensation. Members shall serve for a term of two years.
About the Board
The enumerated powers and duties of the cultural affairs council are to:
- Advise the City Council on significant and pertinent matters relating to cultural activities and events that impact or originate within the City.
- Promote and encourage public participation in cultural and fine arts activities, events and exhibitions.
- Promote, attract and obtain public and private sponsorship of cultural and fine arts activities, events and exhibitions.
