Effective July 1, 2013 the City of Hialeah requires registration of certain real properties in default, foreclosure, or which are mortgagee (bank) owned as the result of a foreclosure, deed-in-lieu of foreclosure, or surrendered to a mortgagee pursuant to a bankruptcy proceeding. The City of Hialeah has partnered with the Federal Property Registration Corporation to manage its foreclosure registration program.
