Book Talk by Jennine Capó Crucet

Join the Hialeah Public Libraries in welcoming nationally awarded author and Miami native, Jennine Capó Crucet to the John F. Kennedy Library for a reading of her new novel, MAKE YOUR HOME AMONG STRANGERS.

Her story collection, HOW TO LEAVE HIALEAH, won the Iowa Short Fiction Prize, the John Gardner Book Award, the Devil's Kitchen Reading Award, and was named a Best Book of the Year by the Miami Herald, the Miami New Times, and the Latinidad List. This event is funded through the “Latino Americans: 500 Years of History” grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.
