Hialeah, Florida – Mayor Carlos Hernandez and the esteemed City Council invite our friends from the media to join us for the Jose Marti Commemorative Walk honoring the great Cuban poet and hero on Sunday, January 27th, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. The Walk will start on West 29th Street (Jose Marti Boulevard) and 6th Avenue at 10:30 a.m. and will continue to 8th Avenue. The walk will culminate with a ceremony featuring speeches and presentations honoring José Marti’s legacy. Dasani beverages provided courtesy of Coca-Cola. We anticipate that this will be a memorable occasion for all.
