The City of Hialeah Announces its Annual Easter Eggstravaganza 2017

A community event for the entire family.

What:  Mayor Carlos Hernandez and the City Council invite our friends from the media to join us for the City of Hialeah Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Goodlet Park.

With over 50,000 eggs, the Egg Hunt is one of the largest in all of South Florida. The event includes an afternoon of live entertainment featuring young talented artists from Hialeah schools, dance academies and our very own talented youths from Goodlet Theater. In addition, kids will have the opportunity to enjoy our many inflatable rides in the ABC Kids and Cuban Guys Kids Zone. Throughout the day, kids will have an opportunity to have their picture taken at the Easter Bunny photo station for only $5.00.

During the event, wristbands will be available for purchase: $12 for rides, $5 for egg hunt and bounce house, and All Access for $15. Entrance and parking for the event is free.

Adults can participate in the Jimmy John’s Magic Egg-Hunt with the opportunity to buy special eggs ($3 each or 2 for $5). All proceeds will benefit programs and activities for the Edgar J. Hall Special Population Center.

Plenty of food and beverages will also be available for purchase. Supporting sponsors of the event include Coca-Cola, Papa John’s Pizza, First Bank Florida and Navarro Discount Pharmacy.
