The City of Hialeah is a recipient of a 2013 Make a Splash grant from the USA Swimming Foundation! Make a Splash is a national child-focused water safety initiative that partners with learn-to-swim providers across the country to provide swimming lessons and educate kids on the importance of learning how to swim. Register your child for a summer camp filled with fun activities! Camp dates are June 10 - August 16. To register your child, bring us a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport, a current photo of your child, and proof of residency (electric, phone, or water bill). A new covered transit shelter was unveiled across from City Hall on Monday, May 6th. A collaboration between the City of Hialeah and Clear Channel, this project came to fruition as a result of a determined Hialeah Project SEARCH participant who lobbied Mayor Hernandez for a sheltered bus bench.
