With over thirty-five Citywide Special events, the Recreation and Community Services Department offers local businesses and corporations an opportunity to join partners with the City of Hialeah to provide the community with quality and affordable leisure experiences. Hundreds of thousands of people participate annually in these community based and athletic oriented Special Events.
All partnership opportunities are marketing driven in nature, full of partnership benefits and custom designed to insure win, win situations for both entities. Currently, the City has formed partnerships with Coca-Cola, Papa John’s pizza, the University of Miami Department of Athletics and gatroade, to name just a few. In all, a network of more than sevety sponsors team up with the city on an annual basis.
Businesses and corporations looking to market their products and services to Hispanic populations need not look any further. The City of Hialeah, by population, is the second largest City in Miami-Dade County and the fifth largest City on the State of Florida, with an estimated population of 236,000 residents. Nearly 91% of Hialeah’s residents are Hispanic, by percentage, according to the 2000 census, it is the third largest Hispanic community in the United States.
