Basic
- Minimum years of age must be six (6) and the maximum is nineteen (17).
- Knowledge of the four (4) basic swimming styles (front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, and butterfly) or completion of the fifth level of American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Participants must pass pre-swim test to enter team.
- Members must be able to participate in activities and competitions assigned to the members.
- Members must follow all team guidelines.
Pre
This level of training young swimmers who are motivated and have the desire to improve their swimming. This team is taught basic fundamentals needed to compete in the higher level teams. This seldom competes, but is required to maintain competitive standards. This team is located at Bucky Dent Aquatic Center and Milander Aquatic Center.
Red
This level of training introduces the concepts of competitive swimming. An emphasis on stroke development (butterfly, back crawl, breaststroke and front crawl) is taught and practiced daily. This team is located at Bucky Dent Aquatic Center and Milander Aquatic Center.
Blue
This level of training consists on a more advanced training than the Red Team. Fundamentals of training and racing are introduced in every practice session.
Silver
This level of training consists of the same training schedule as the Gold Team, but with a lower swimming regimen.
Gold
This level of training consists of dry land training, stroke mechanics, and offers an advanced swimming regimen.
