The Court Liaison Unit handles all matters concerning court procedures for departmental personnel. This is achieved through daily contact with the State Attorney’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, private attorneys, the Dade County Court Clerk and others to insure cooperation between the Hialeah Police Department and the criminal justice system.

It is the policy of this department to cooperate fully with the criminal justice system towards a common goal of effective and efficient administration of justice.
