The responsibility of the Crimes Property Section consists of follow-up investigations of cases associated with residential and commercial burglaries, vehicle break-ins, grand thefts, pawn shops, thefts of vehicles, boats and chop shops. The unit also investigates fraud cases, arsons and other miscellaneous property crimes. The Detectives in addition to follow-up cases also initiate investigations from leads they receive from the citizens of the city.
