  1. How do I obtain information on housing requests and the status of housing applications?
    You will need to contact Hialeah Housing Authority at (305) 888-9744.


  2. How do I obtain information on potholes, trimming of trees, and drain requests?
    You will need to contact the Streets Division at (305) 687-2611.


  3. How do I go about making a complaint on illegal structures, livestock, and businesses in residential areas?
    You will need to contact the Code Enforcement Department at (305) 883-5832.


  4. Who do I need to speak to in reference to problems with gangs, tractor trailers blocking view, and commercial vehicles parked on swale areas?
    You will need to contact Frank Gonzalez, of the Hialeah Police Chief's Office, at (305) 953-5314.


  5. Who do I need to speak to in reference to a ticket?
    You will need to call the Clerk of Courts for Miami-Dade County, whose telephone number is (305) 275-1155.


  6. Who do I need to see in reference to immigration status and citizenship questions?
    If you have not filed a Privacy Act Form, you will need to come to the Office of the Mayor and fill out and sign the necessary form. The Mayor's Office will then request status from either Senator Mel Martinez, Senator Bill Nelson, Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart, or Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. The Office of the Mayor also provides packets on citizenship questions that you may pick up.
