Photocopy Service
JFK Memorial Library has three black and white copy machines and one color copy machine available to the public.

The black and white copy machines located in the Children’s Room and by the elevator can copy 8 ½” x 11” and 8 ½ “ x 14”. The cost is $.20 per copy.

The black and white copy machine located in the Reference area can only copy 11” x 17". The cost is $.30 per copy.

The color copy machine in the Reference area can copy 8 ½” x 11” and 8 ½” x 14”. The cost is $0.50 per copy.
West Hialeah, North Hialeah, and Curtiss e-Libraries each have a black and white copy machine that can copy only 8 ½” x 11”. The cost is $.15 per copy.
Fax Service
All branches of the Hialeah Public Libraries have fax machines available. Please see the Circulation Desk staff to request this services. Fax service is limited to local area phone numbers for a charge of $1.00 per page.
Scanning Service
The JFK Memorial Public Library can scan documents or photos. All scans are on a flatbed scanner. The maximum size of the scan is 8 ½” x 11 ½”. All images are saved in jpg format for photos and tif format for documents. No manipulation of digitized images beyond cropping and minor adjustments to balance and contrast will be done. The cost is $1.00 per image. All scanned images will be saved only to a read-writable CD. Patrons can purchase read-writable CDs at the Circulation Desk for $2.00 per item.
Computers and the Internet
Free computer use is provided to all library cardholders. Available programs include: Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Publisher. Black and white laser printers are available; paper and diskettes can be purchased at the Circulation desk for $.15 per page and $1.00 per diskette.
Staff will provide searching suggestions and answer general questions about computer use. Free Computer Workshops are conducted on a regular basis. Monthly class schedules are available at the Reference Desk.
