The City of Hialeah’s Early Prevention and Intervention Program was created in October
1992, to help at risk youth make informative decisions that will lead them in the
right path. The goal of our program is to intervene early in the lives of these
youth and strengthen them with knowledge and skills necessary to be productive citizens and offers them positive alternatives to combat negative behavior. The program is open to all at risk youth, ages 12-17 living in the City of Hialeah and students seeking to be an example for our at risk youth participants to follow.
EPI also offers a great internship program available to all college and university
students.
The EPI program’s office is located at the Parks and Recreation Office 5601
East 8th Avenue, Bldg #4 for more information please call the Early Prevention and
Intervention Program at 305-687-2650.
