The Hialeah Police Department Records Section is located at Police Headquarters, 5555 East 8 Avenue. The Records Section is open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. We are closed on Holidays. Copies of all police reports and documents open to public access are available from the Records Section.

There is a charge of 15 cents per page for single sided  reports and 20 cents per page for double sided reports. If you are requesting the report by mail, you must include your name, date the report was written, case number, type of report and location of occurrence. A self-addressed stamped envelope with $1.00 to cover the cost of the report must also be included. (No personal checks will be accepted.)

Copy of reports are accessible to the public after they have been approved and processed. Please allow 7 working days before obtaining accident reports. All other reports require a wait of 5 to 10 working days. You may call ahead of time to verify if the report is ready at (305) 687-2500.
