Improve English Reading skills using a computer – CEI Literacy Lab

Children in grades 3^rd - 9^th (reading below grade level) are eligible to participate in the CEI lab.   The Essential Learning Systems software is a comprehensive program for reading improvement that offers a totally interactive multimedia approach with innovative research-based strategies and methods for learning. Children in Exceptional Student Education have proven to benefit from participating in CEI labs.  Participants in the program receive one hour of daily instruction 4 days a week, totaling 4 hours per week.  Students must commit to attending the lab Mondays through Thursdays for a six-month period.   Space is limited.  Basic computer knowledge is helpful.
