Fun Facts!
Babcock Park is named after Benny Myron Babcock, a marine who was unfortunately killed in action during World War 2. Holding the rank of Private First Class, Benny Babcock enlisted in the marines in 1940 and was a City of Hialeah resident prior to enlistment.
Babcock Park is adjacent to a police substation that also houses an e-library for public use.
Babcock Park is one of seven recreational facilities with a swimming pool. Although the pool is only open seasonally, Babcock Pool is a great place to spend a hot summer day.
