To request a courtesy pool credit, the account holder needs to be the person submitting the request. If the account holder prefers to submit the documentation via email, the email address must include the account holder's name that way the name can be matched to the account. If someone other than the account holder will be submitting the request on the owner's behalf, then the account holder must provide their representative with a signed letter including the information listed below. The account must also be in good standing and may not have been disconnected for non-payment in the past year.
Please include in the letter:
Copy of account holder's driver's license
Property address or account number
State if the pool is in-ground or above-ground
Shape of pool
Pool measurements: Length, width, and height
Deep Measurements: Shallow end depth and deep end depth
Number of gallons (minimum 3,500 gallons)
The date pool was filled

Please scan the letter and email it to Customer Service or bring all documents to our offices located at 3700 W 4th Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33012. Once the information is received, the Department will set up an appointment at the property to verify that the pool has been filled. The courtesy Pool Credit will consist of a once a year refund of all sewer-related charges and fees based on the consumption amount it took to fill the pool.
